How does keycard access work?

When you hold your keycard close to the reader (on the right side of the front doors), the computer will check to make sure your membership is current and if it is, it will release the door latch allowing access to the facility.  If you membership is expired or falls delinquent, the door will not unlock.  If your membership payment information needs updated, please call or stop in during staffed hours or follow this link.  Bring your keycard with you every time you visit Sweatbox.

When can I access the facility?

Members can access the gym with keytag anytime between 5:00am-10:00pm, 7 days/week.

  

Can I share my key card?

No. Your keycard specifically identifies you to our database and is not allowed to be used/borrowed by anyone else, including family or friends.   Also, you may not bring in guests with keycard access.  All guests are welcome during staffed hours only.  Violation of these rules will result in membership termination.

Can I use the gym if I'm not a member?

Yes, we offer day passes for a $10 fee.  Day passes must be used during staffed hours.  Hours can be found on the contact page.  

Is Sweat Box only for people who want personal training?

No. Sweat Box offers basic memberships that give full access to the gym and training equipment.  Personal training is always available to you but is not required for a membership.

How much does personal training cost?

Personal training fees vary based on session length and frequency of training.  At the end of your consultation, your trainer will go over training options and pricing based on your goals.  

 

Do I need a membership if I am working with a personal trainer?

Yes. You receive a discount on your gym membership when you work with a personal trainer.  The month-to-month dues drop to $25 per month.

 

How do I get started with personal training?

The first step is to meet with a trainer for a consultation.  Please fill out the form found on the personal training page.  Your trainer will then contact you to schedule a time for your consultation.

What can I expect during my consultation??

During your consultation your trainer will talk to you about your goals and past experience with exercise.  You will then go through several physical assessments so your trainer can determine your current fitness level.  Finally, your trainer will give you their recommendation for the best training program to achieve your goals.

 

How do I cancel my membership?

To cancel your monthly membership and stop the billing of your membership fees, Sweatbox requires written notice 30 days in advance of your next billing date.  Written notice must be delivered to the club during staffed hours or sent via email to memberships@sweatboxonline.com.  Once your notice of cancellation is received and processed, you will receive a confirmation email.
